Preparation

1. Peeling and chopping dragonfruit

  • Picando la pitahaya.
To cut the pitahaya into cubes, cut it in half, and cut the flesh in one direction and then in the opposite direction without piercing the skin.
Use a spoon to remove the flesh, which will end up cut into cubes.
⚠️ Place the fruit on a cutting board and never cut it while holding it in your hand to avoid accidents.

2. Blending

  • Blending ingredients.
In the blender jar, combine dragon fruit, ginger, lemon juice, sugar (or preferred sweetener), and cold water.
Blend until everything is well dissolved.

3. Serving

  • Dragon fruit juice.
Add the ice to 4 glasses and serve. You can also return to the blender to crush the ice and turn it into a slush.
    Garnish with fruit.

Top tips

  • Sweeten: You can sweeten the juice with your favorite sweetener or sweetener; honey and agave syrup work very well too.
  • Dragon fruit colors: There are several colors of dragon fruit (the fuchsia you see in the photos, a white one, a yellow one, and other colors depending on the tree). You can use whichever one you prefer or find.
  • Smoothie: You can blend the juice with ice to make a smoothie.
  • Leftovers: If you have leftover dragon fruit, try this dragon fruit smoothie or this dragon fruit dessert.
